National Youth Science Forum

NYSF is unique in Australia.

The National Youth Science Forum (NYSF) is a not-for-profit organisation that runs a number of residential programs to encourage young people in their passion for science.

  • Young people with a passion for science
  • Students in year 11 from around Australia
  • Everyone – scholarships available

Students during year 11 are selected to attend the NYSF the following year.  They learn how to make informed decisions about courses and careers in the sciences and gain a professional skill set to help them realise their potential.

Please note: We acknowledge the impact current lockdowns and an escalating COVID-19 situation across Australia is having on the community. NYSF Year 12 Applications remain open to support students, families and educators during this challenging time. Please get in touch with us if you need further help with your application at
