Rotary Club of Diamond Creek

Rotary Diamond Creek Pantry

The Rotary Club of Diamond Creek is striving to end waste and hunger through the distribution of surplus food to the community.

One in five Australians are affected by not being able to provide food for their families, and The Rotary Club of Diamond Creek is proud to run the Rotary Diamond Creek Pantry. We provide fresh food, produce and some pantry items to the local community on a weekly basis free of charge. Not only are we providing a valuable resource to those in our community in need, but we are also saving produce that would have otherwise been sent to landfill.

Volunteers collect unwanted food from local supermarkets and retail outlets each weeknight. This food is then distributed to those who need it every Saturday morning at the Diamond Creek Community Centre. If you would like to help and be a part of this very worthwhile project, please contact us.

We welcome donations of food from any businesses or individuals.

We are extremely grateful to those local businesses and organisations that make it possible for us to do this:

  • Coles, Diamond Creek
  • Aldi, Lower Plenty
  • IGA, Yarra Glen
  • IGA, Diamond Creek
  • Hot Pies & Pork Roll Bakery, Diamond Creek
  • The French Lettuce, Hurstbridge
  • Diamond Creek Football Netball Club
  • Diamond Creek Community Centre
