PDG John Gatt reported on the Town Fair that the and Roger Knight and Greg Adams had
met with council to apply for an increase in funding.
President Kerry Jones then commenced the formal induction of Gary Hennessy
Kerry introduced Sara from The Pip.ilepsy Foundation and mother of Pip - the face of the campaign - who spoke about her
fundraising efforts for the Royal Children’s Hospital.
The foundation was founded to fight against epilepsy and assist the hospital systems within Australia to provide children suffering from epilepsy the best level of care, treatment and progressive research available.

Chairperson Roger Knight introduced the Speaker David Finlayson who spoke about details included in his book “Pioneers of Australian Armour in the Great War.”
Chair Roger Knight stated that a donation of $10 would be made to Rotarians Against
Malaria, (RAM) for mosquito repellent bed nets in Papua New Guinea in David's name.
The Rypen Students spoke briefly about their experiences at RYPEN .
